I started Sightline in 2012 after watching too many homeowners in Palm Beach County get a verbal price that ballooned once the old frame came out. That still happens. I measure every opening myself when the job calls for it, and I keep the first survey document in the file so nobody, including me, can rewrite what we found. My specialty is impact-rated systems for the older concrete-block homes you see throughout Belle Glade, where the original openings were never designed for modern load requirements and the retrofit has to be engineered, not forced. I will tell you if a manufacturer’s published rating overstates what that product will actually deliver on your specific wall. I have the test data. On weekends I tend a small vegetable patch behind the house that floods in September without fail, which has taught me more about drainage and flashing than any classroom.

Marcus has been with us seven years and runs the crew on every full-frame replacement we do in Belle Glade and south into the Glades. Javi M., Apprentice Installer

Javi joined us in 2023 after two years in general construction and a realization that he wanted to specialize in something he could see finished. He’s working through our internal certification on Therma-Tru door systems and basic impact glazing, and he’s not allowed to sign off on a job until Marcus has checked his fastening pattern and Elena has reviewed his sealant bead. Javi asks the questions veterans stop asking, which sometimes catches assumptions the rest of us have made. He lives in South Bay and commutes up State Road 80, so he’s the first to know when weather is moving in and the last to leave a job if the caulking needs cure time.
